The Collective Consciousness Part 3

Introduction

In Part 2 of this series it was proposed that (1) thought is a creation of consciousness, and that it has an independent existence; (2) consciousness (self-awareness) is independent of physical bodies and so can access an etheric realm which I call the Human Thought Space; and (3) a thought is a vibration that also contains information. By “etheric realm” I mean that which is not measurable by scientific instruments.

I made these statements as an alternative to the accepted “wisdom” that consciousness and self-awareness originate in the brain, that the mind originates in the brain, and that thoughts originate in the brain.

I’m pretty sure this “expert” wisdom is a bunch of nonsense because no one has ever found any of these things in the brain, or anywhere else in the body for that matter.

These degraded ideas about what a human being is are important because they determine humanity’s conception of itself, and thus the design of human societies.

Scientific Orthodoxy vs. the Human Thought Space

Nevertheless, the three statements above do sound a bit fanciful, don’t they?

Well, many accepted scientific truths are just educated guesses that have become accepted as fact.

For example, an atom has never been directly observed; neither has a proton, a neutron, an electron, a quark, or a neutrino. Funny squiggles on photographic plates represent fundamental particles in the Standard Model of Particle Physics.

Dark energy and dark matter comprise 95% of the matter and energy in the universe, but no one has observed them or can define them accurately. They are, essentially, mathematical constructs used to explain galaxy rotation curves.

The Higgs field, which is supposed to permeate all of space, is theorized to be a fundamental field in the universe that mysteriously gives mass to elementary particles via equally mysterious Yukawa coupling constants. The Large Hadron Collider at CERN claimed in 2012 to have discovered the Higgs boson, which supposedly proves the existence of the Higgs field. But the Higgs field’s relationship to the physical universe is not at all clear.

Physicists, according to the Nobel winning Richard Feynman, don’t even know what energy is.

Much of physics itself – the science that defines what the universe is – remarkably resembles (dare we say it) an etheric realm.

Physicist David Bohm described this etheric realm as a universal potential, which he called the Implicate Order. According to Bohm, space, time, and particles are not separate entities at all, but projections or “unfoldings” of this deeper realm. The Implicate Order contains the potential for all of physical reality, as well as consciousness.

If Bohm is correct then the Human Thought Space isn’t such a kooky idea. And our ideas about consciousness and thought may be just as real as anything else at the quantum level.

Consciousness, the Etheric Realm, and the Material Realm

The HTS, we say, is filled with the thoughts of everyone on earth. These thoughts have a tiny bit of energy and so can impinge on the minds of human beings, because human consciousness exists both in the physical realm and in the etheric realm. In this concept, all minds are connected and we all influence each other.

The self-awareness that is you includes your awareness of your body and the physical universe, but isn’t limited to the body and the material world.

In other words, human consciousness performs a sort of “dual use” function: it can perceive the physical through the body’s senses, and also access the etheric realm.

Consciousness, the HTS, and Independent Discoveries

Scientific discoveries often appear from more than one source at the same time.

The calculus, for example, was discovered independently at about the same time by Leibniz in Germany and Newton in England, back in the late 1600s. Many other examples are listed here.

Why is this? Dean Keith Simonton explains it this way:

Rather  than being the products of the individual mind, multiples [simultaneous discoveries] are said to prove that creative ideas are the effects of the zeitgeist, or spirit of the times. At a specific instant in the history of a domain, the time becomes ripe for a given idea. The idea is ‘in the air’ for anyone to pick, making its inception inevitable.

Ideas are “in the air” indeed! Zeitgeist is a word that suggests an etheric or spiritual origin.

Google AI says this:

The phenomenon of scientific breakthroughs being made independently and almost simultaneously by multiple scientists is known as “multiple discovery” or “simultaneous invention.” Sociologist Robert K. Merton considered this a common pattern in science, rather than a rare exception. It demonstrates that discoveries often arise from the collective knowledge and readiness of the scientific community, not just from individual genius.

The AI here uses “collective knowledge” to refer to the science in published papers, online videos and presentations, personal correspondence, or information received at conferences and networking events. But collective knowledge could also refer to the accessing of other thoughts or ideas in the HTS. This phenomenon can result in aha! moments, or hunches, or something that suddenly “occurs” to you, or “hits you.” These are ideas that “come out of nowhere,” or “out of the blue.”

I am thinking specifically of the famous event in 1843 in which Sir William Rowan Hamilton, the Irish mathematician, while crossing a bridge in Ireland, was suddenly struck by the idea of how to solve quaternions. Quaternions are mathematical structures used modernly in the display and interaction between objects in three-dimensional space. Hamilton scratched his solutions into the bridge. Those scribblings have been preserved, as far as I know, to this day.

Mere mortals can also access the HTS, and I’m sure almost all of those reading this paper have experienced something like what happened to Hamilton. We have certainly all had hunches or inspiration or negative thoughts without knowing where they came from.

With 8 billion humans interacting with the HTS every day, there’s no shortage of content!

What is the HTS and How Does it Work?

The Human Thought Space is postulated to be an envelope of consciousness, a space or realm where the thought energy of the species gathers. The HTS is part of the spiritual system on planet earth and is accessible to all human beings, even those who think it’s nonsense.

A physical analogy to the HTS would be the zero-point energy field or the aether, excitations of which are said by some physicists to comprise the visible matter and energy of the universe. Zero Point Energy appeared mathematically with the development of quantum mechanics early in the 20th century. Physicists such as Hal Puthoff, Eric Davis, and Freidwart Winterberg (among others), have written extensively on the subject.

Accessing the information in the HTS would work similar to tuning into a radio or TV broadcast. The one consciously selected is the one that gets played. (In dreams, the mind is unfocused and so randomly samples what’s out there.)

In everyday life, the thoughts and life situations you resonate to access similar thoughts in the HTS. Therefore, whatever you are focused on or give your attention to begins to appear in your life, including people with a similar resonance to your own thoughts.

Whatever you resonate to, you get more of.

This is the opposite of physical charges and Coulomb forces, where opposites (such as protons and electrons) attract.

HTS —> like attracts like. Compatible vibrations resonate to each other

Physical universe —> opposite charges attract

Because thoughts are vibrational, only matching vibrations are compatible. An angry person, for example, is not compatible with a cheerful person. Cheerful people avoid anger cases like the plague, and prefer to hang out with other cheerful persons. Similarly, the Dark hates the Light because the two vibrations are too far apart, and so are incompatible. This leads to a society where pockets of darkness and despair exist alongside areas of prosperity.

Reification

Hard-nosed skeptics, scientists, and medical people call ideas like the HTS, and non-physical consciousness, logical fallacies. They say we are committing the deadly sin of Reification. To reify means to assign reality to an abstract idea or concept, such as saying, “the soul inhabits the body.” The soul (or the HTS), they say, is an abstract concept and has no existence in reality.

The only problem with this argument is that – if you have enough self-awareness – you understand that the non-physical part of you does inhabit the body. There is no way to prove this scientifically or logically because it is entirely subjective. But there is very good news even for skeptics, scientists, and other materialists: Every single person on this earth will discover this “reified” truth in the moment after their body takes its last breath.

How do I know this? Lived wisdom. Intuition. Experiences during meditation. Again, these statements are entirely subjective and not provable scientifically. They can only be understood individually and personally.

Why should we care what skeptics and materialists think? Because, unfortunately, a primitive conception of humanity dominates public discourse and the practice of science, politics, economics, and medicine. These “expert” opinions – which are presented as facts that cannot be contradicted – are the foundation stones of our societies and our governing classes. So they have to be acknowledged because they are so widely held. But I think it’s important to propose something that raises the human being above the level of walking meat.

Consciousness as a Creator

If a conscious personality can create a thought, and a thought is a little packet of energy/vibration that contains information, where does that lead?

It leads to a spiritual system that is based on personal responsibility. This spiritual system scales up to the etheric realm and down to the material world. One might say it is scale invariant.

The conscious creation of individuals involves the HTS, and every person on earth. All minds are linked in the Collective Consciousness.

Doesn’t matter if you are unaware of its operation. The HTS operates to give back to you what you choose to focus on. Your mental orientation brings to you similar thoughts, and people who agree with them, into your life. In this way the spiritual system enforces personal responsibility for one’s life.

Aint nobody else thinking your thoughts.

Playing the victim doesn’t work because a victim always focuses on what they don’t want. And so they get more of what they don’t want. This self-reflexive process just reinforces their victim status (“You see? I told you my boss wouldn’t give me that promotion!”) This is the HTS’s way of saying: “Choose differently or you will keep getting the same old shit.”

The operation of the HTS always rewards those who focus intensely on anything, which is why self-centered psychopaths can have success, particularly when they organize into global institutions where they can hide their intentions. However, their success is also their downfall, for the rest of us eventually get to see what they are doing behind the scenes.

The primary difficulty as I see it is that the Collective Consciousness doesn’t understand how powerful it is, nor do we understand the power of our thought and intention.

Fortunately, today we are in a very unusual situation. For the first time in human history we have a true global civilization, with instant comms across the planet, and so many people that gaming the system is very, very difficult.

Metaphysics vs. Physical Reality

The ideas presented here are meta-physical, meaning they are not verifiable by measurement (yet). Nevertheless they are vital because no policy, politician, or system can save us at this point. The breakdown of our society in almost every area is too vast. The only solutions left involve the metaphysical, because the origins of our problems are metaphysical.

Humanity simply has a wrong-headed belief about what consciousness is, and what a human being is. If we can acknowledge the nonphysical origin of consciousness – which leads to the recognition of a human being’s higher potential – we can make it out of the morass our own primitive belief systems have created. Until we do that all of our “solutions” will be based on the same consciousness that created our problems in the first place.

Physical reality reflects the state of the human collective consciousness, because action follows thought.

Practical solutions, in other words, must have at least one foot in the metaphysical sea of human consciousness.

Presently the world is self-dividing into two camps: the materialist camp and the self-aware camp, with the vast middle occupied by “normies” who are beginning to see through the lies and the Narratives. This is a very positive development. Along with the “waking up” process will come a more meta-physical and positive orientation.

Note: if you are reading this you are definitely not a normie!

At present the materialist camp are in positions of power in government and in the private sector. However, the materialists always use the same playbook: fear, lies, propaganda, and violence when necessary.

People are sick and tired of this playbook, and are beginning to recognize when it is employed.

My guess is that this can only lead to more and more people in the middle choosing the self-aware camp (the large arrow), as that which was hidden is exposed. Of course, some also choose the dark path (represented by the small arrow). Mass media always hypes the dark because darkness and chaos sells (and it is still unusual, even in our crazy society). The insane mass shooters, the carjackers, the knife-wielding lunatics, always get the headlines while the vast majority of us go about our business.

Consciousness Evolution

Consciousness evolution is aided by the HTS in a self-reflexive process. The self-aware in their millions provide the thoughts that nudge those who are looking for answers and beginning to see through the nonsense. This moves the Overton Window ever so slightly toward the Light every day. Momentum builds every day.

This process is quiet and it is occurring invisibly, at the speed of thought. It cannot be stopped because the activity in the HTS cannot be silenced and is not even recognized by our current materialist overlords. In other words, the playbook of the meatheads can do nothing about the shifting of the Overton Window of human consciousness within the human thought space / collective consciousness.

And when that window shifts enough we will see a much different, and better, world.
