The Human Thought Space
In an earlier post we discussed Carl Jung’s concept of the Collective Unconscious, and postulated the existence of its opposite: The Collective Consciousness.
The Collective Consciousness, like Jung’s archetypes, is a product of the human mind, and both influence human behavior. The difference is that the Collective Consciousness consists of the conscious thought impulses of billions of human beings in real time.
It is a dynamic, ever-changing representation of the cognitive orientation of the human race on planet earth. And it is a snapshot, at any time t, of the condition or status of human consciousness because it is a collection of every thought in existence.
“You’re barmy,” the authorities and the experts say. “Everyone knows that thought impulses come from the brain, and so does consciousness. Thoughts are electrochemical reactions inside your skull and have no independent existence. We need practical solutions to problems, not new-age nonsense!”
This is the view of all scientific and medical authorities on the planet. But this materialist world view has led to the sad state of our societies, so there must be something wrong with it.
For “practical solutions” to work, they must be designed from a reorientation of our understanding of consciousness, and the relationship of thought to action.
Consciousness —> Thought —> Action
Spirit —> Mind —> Body
Action follows thought. Thought precedes action. Try performing a task and give no thought to what you are doing. Undertaking even a trivial task mindlessly is likely to produce a big mess.
At the very least, thought is a directing force for human activity.
What Is a Thought?
I am defining a thought as a direct emanation or phenomenon of consciousness. Consciousness is defined as the personal self-awareness that is independent of the physical body, and survives after the body takes its last breath.
These definitions define consciousness, and thought, as entirely independent of the brain. They also endow consciousness with the ability to create, even if it is on a subtle level. This idea has important implications which I will go into in further articles.
Relating Thought to Physics
Even if thoughts have an independent existence, one individual’s thoughts may indeed have no influence on anyone but themselves. But the thoughts of 8 billion people may be enormously powerful. In the Collective Consciousness framework, a human thought has energy and exists within a postulated planetary envelope of subtle energy, which I call the Human Thought Space (HTS). The HTS can be thought of as the esoteric equivalent of an electromagnetic field, generated by the collective consciousness of billions of human beings.
The Human Thought Space is an esoteric representation of humanity’s conception of itself and the world.
A magnetic field surrounds a permanent magnet or a coil when electricity is run through it (called an electromagnet). A magnetic field can be altered when in the presence of another magnetic field, when the flux or field lines of the fields interact with each other.
Moreover, thoughts can be positive (“I love animals”), neutral (“2 + 2 = 4”), or negative (“People are stupid”). In a sense, thoughts have a tiny bit of positive or negative charge, just like the atom with its protons, neutrons, and electrons.[1]
In physics, a quantum is the smallest discrete unit of energy, or a physical quantity that cannot be divided further. A thought can be considered as a quantum, or perhaps more accurately as the esoteric equivalent of a photon. A photon is a unit (quantum) of light and has energy, yet it has zero mass. A thought quantum is not only a unit of light energy, but a unit of information. In this way, the Human Thought Space is composed of quanta of subtle energy and information.
Thoughts are little packets of subtle energy and information created by conscious human beings
Nikola Tesla said, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” Tesla believed that the universe, including all matter and consciousness, operates on these principles. Those are also the principles of the HTS. Just like physical objects, each thought quanta or packet has a unique vibration.
The MerKaBa and Halos
In a previous article we also talked about the MerKaBa, the ancient Egyptian concept of a field of subtle energy that surrounds the human body and all living things.

Subtle energy is sometimes called a halo in artistic renderings of holy persons and angelic beings. Living things may also include planets, stars, and galaxies.[2]
You can either believe the universe is alive or dead. I prefer to think that everything in the universe is alive at some level.

“Yeah yeah yeah,” you say, “so what? Thought is ephemeral, it has no affect on anything.”
But what if it does?
The saying “As above, so below” is a pithy summary of the Platonic principle that physical objects have a higher form in an esoteric, but unseen, level of reality. Plato described this concept in his Allegory of the Cave over 2,000 years ago.[4]
What if the continuous interaction of thought from billions of human beings is perceived as a sort of background vibe in daily life, and sometimes even consciously (“hold it, something just occurred to me.”)
In this way, the thoughts of all human beings can affect the individual human being’s thoughts about anything.[5] Intuition may just be the reading of the thoughts of others in the HTS. (There is a lot more to this, which will be the subject of further articles.)
In the Human Thought Space all individuals are linked. The HTS also interacts with the planet as well, for the planet is a living entity. If earth was just an inanimate rock it could not sustain billions of life forms and the living ecosystems that support them.
HTS As an Alternative to the Materialist Paradigm
An overview of human societies today (particularly in the United States) shows a trend toward financial and social collapse. Many of our big cities are a mess of drugs and crime. There is a new “active shooter” practically every week. Public education is a massive failure, creating millions of “graduates” who can barely read and write. Entire sectors of the once-tolerant American culture are now mired in hatred and contention, fueled by propaganda from mass media and on social media.
I have heard countless explanations for the craziness from many social commentators. Most of them blame some other group or individual, or “the left” or “right-wing extremists.” These explanations are just part of the many and varied PsyOps being run on the American people. The latest is the “new and improved” Global Governance system. [6]
Events today make little sense because our social and scientific systems are based in materialism, which only recognizes profit, power, and self-interest.
A materialist regards human beings as units of production, or useless eaters, or blobs of protoplasm to be counted and organized for some agenda. This orientation squashes the higher spiritual aspirations and potential of human beings.
The Collective Consciousness a non-materialist framework (and orientation) for viewing life from a larger perspective. This is necessary because approaching intractable human problems on a planetary scale calls for a restructuring of our fundamental beliefs: What does it mean to be human? What are the beliefs that humanity has about itself? What are humans capable of if their higher potential is recognized and supported?
A redefinition of “human nature” is necessary now because the materialist paradigm is crushing human potential and crashing our societies in all areas. Materialism has been tried for 6,000 years and has failed. Let’s give it a decent burial and embrace a higher understanding.
How Might the HTS Work?
What would happen in our Human Thought Space if billions of people decided that they are sick and tired of endless war, poverty, and injustice?
Billions of people would be cohering (aligning) their thoughts around concepts like “I want something better,” and “We want to live in prosperous and peaceful times,” and “We don’t want any more war!”
Of course these thoughts would co-exist with others on the hate side of the spectrum. But if the balance of energy in the HTS goes from more Dark than Light to more Light than Dark, a powerful positive resonance will be created that can escape the gravitational field of dark energy and flow freely in human consciousness. This resonance toward the Light would ignite a change in consciousness energy and gradually alter the collective Overton Window toward more positive outcomes.
This may occur slowly at first, but gather momentum as a snowball when it rolls downhill.
Quanta and Thought
How does the HTS affect individuals, human systems, and human organizations on the planet?
Well, since HTS quanta have energy, it is possible for them to impinge on human minds. These packets or quanta might be negative or positive, but if the preponderance of collective human thought is now leaning toward the Light, a resonance toward the positive gradually builds up.
The Shift and the Law of Unintended Consequences
By the Shift I mean the evolution of human consciousness out of the Darkness and into the Light. On a planet of free will that has been mired in the Dark for millennia, I don’t think it’s possible for a positive orientation to quickly dislodge a negative orientation. The dark energy is still strong. Therefore, the Law of Unintended Consequences comes into play.
When the light starts to penetrate the darkness created by 6,000 years of human karma, social chaos results. That which has been largely hidden – pedophilia, human trafficking, drug running, arms trafficking, and corruption in all its forms – becomes exposed. Rocks under which the perps and their networks have been hidden are turned over, and their activities are forced out into the open. People begin to lose their minds as this stuff gets splashed all over mass media.
The defenses of the Dark rely on chaos, lies, and the fear that begets violence. Fear and violence are and have been the primary weapons of the Dark for millennia. It’s a playbook that never changes because the Dark is incapable of the transparency and honesty that breeds creativity. The Dark must rely on propaganda, subterfuge, and lies. Above all it cannot abide the light and the exposure it brings to their activities.
The Shift in human consciousness is therefore a very messy business and we are in it now.
The Consciousness Shift
What happens to individuals, systems, and groups that are based in greed, conflict, and selfishness when positive light/thought quanta begin to impinge on their consciousness?
Well, what happens when you try to help a mad dog? What happens to you when you are in a really bad mood and somebody comes up to you smiling and telling you how great life is? More than likely that person gets a big FU.
Dark energy is incompatible with the Light. The Dark fears and hates the Light. The story of the scorpion and the frog illustrates this idea very well.
The good news is that only areas where the energy is predominately Dark will experience the negative. That area also includes an individual’s personal space.
And so the earth is a hodgepodge of violent, degraded areas and calmer and prosperous areas. The Dark, of course, sees these areas and wants to burn them down and destroy them.
That’s planet earth circa 2025. The good news is that this social insanity is occurring precisely because the Light is penetrating through the lies and fear-based subterfuge of the Dark.
Who’s to Blame for all this Madness?
The conscious evolution process is very powerful and the results are very visible, but its origin is esoteric. And so there is no one person or group to blame for what we experience collectively. What human societies are experiencing won’t be cured by more guns or more anti-gun laws, different politicians in charge, more socialism or more capitalism, or different “systems” or “policies.”
It is not possible to solve problems by using solutions that come from the same consciousness that created the problem. Humanity is ready now for solutions that go far beyond the status quo. We need new ideas, not the same ones that have created 6,000 years of war and conflict.
The Collective Consciousness and the Human Thought Space are epi-phenomenon. Which means that human consciousness is evolving in a way that cannot be explained by science, medicine, or religion.
This process is ongoing and involves every individual on the planet, because we all contribute to the HTS in every moment. It is a silent process that yet manifests itself in the physical universe, in every moment.
The end result?
That’s up to us, to every individual who thinks, resolves, and decides.

[1] The difference is that Coulomb forces (the forces between atomic particles), although tiny, have been measured. Some day, a proper experiment might be devised to test whether a thought exists and can be measured.
[2] The ancients understood that the stars and planets are alive. Aristotle wrote:

[3] Dark Matter is a made-up concept used to explain galaxy rotation curves that don’t fit current cosmological/astronomical theory. It is a perfect example of something esoteric that has existence but cannot be measured or seen. Call it what you wanna, “dark energy” or “subtle energy”! Dark matter is one step toward acknowledging that galaxies (like human beings) might be living entities with subtle energy halos.
[4] In Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, Socrates explains how the philosopher is like a prisoner freed from the cave and comes to understand that the shadows on the [cave] wall are not the direct source of the images seen. A philosopher aims to understand and perceive the higher levels of reality. However, the other inmates of the cave do not even desire to leave their prison, for they know no better life. This last sentence describes what is happening today in the Information War for the souls and minds of humanity.
[5] Analogous to Mach’s Principle in physics, which states that an object’s resistance to motion is influenced by all of the other masses in the universe. (Physicists have some pretty big ideas!)
