Trump and the “Deep State”

Doesn’t look like politics as usual, does it? Not since Donald Trump became president. There are a number of theories as to why Trump brought in so much chaos. Those on the left say he is a fascist, and is nurturing other fascist (nationalist) movements all over the world, and that the planet is sinking lower and lower into totalitarianism. Those on the right say that Trump is a savior, rooting out corruption in governments and exposing a Deep State that wants to subjugate mankind and create a police/surveillance state.

What Trump is doing is bypassing the mainstream media (e.g., MSNBC, CNN, New York Times) and its controlled opposition such as Alex Jones and Infowars. The US executive is engaged in a direct dialogue with selected parts of the public using Twitter and the Q board.

Media and the Intelligence Agencies

The mainstream media has had an intimate relationship to the intelligence services. For example, in Britain, the BBC is essentially an intelligence agency. An essay on E-International Relations points this out:

Journalism, or the media in general has been a part of intelligence related activities for a long time, one of the cases being the BBC’s emergence as an intelligence agency during the years of the Second World War. Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) was established to conduct SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) by capturing and decoding encrypted enemy transmissions in 1939 (Calkins, 2011: 1). At the same time, a new unit was created within the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) to ‘intercept, monitor and report on the open broadcasts of enemy, neutral and Allied radio stations’ (Calkins, 2011: 2). This BBC Monitoring Service was meant to listen to, record, transcribe and translate open radio transmissions, in this way producing OSINT i.e. open source intelligence. BBC Overseas Intelligence Department analysed the material and started issuing a Weekly Survey on ‘propaganda broadcast by enemy, neutral and allied countries’ in 1939 (Calkins, 2011: 2). Also, in the same year BBC began producing Daily Digest, which was mainly edited items broadcasted by foreign radio stations. This information was provided to the Ministry of Economic Warfare, the Foreign Office, the Ministry of Information, MI9, MI5 etc. (Calkins, 2011: 3), thus making BBC not only involved in data collection, but also in its analysis. Therefore the role of BBC was equal to the role and functions of an intelligence agency.”

Here in the US, the media has long been connected with the intelligence community, ever since the National Security Act, which created the CIA, was signed by President Truman in 1947. If you want to find out more about this, look up Project Mockingbird. You’ll find everything from the assertion that Mockingbird USED TO BE a project by the CIA to influence reporters to write stories favorable to the “Establishment.” Others say it is an ongoing process; that the media is comped and that as long as you don’t stray into dangerous subjects, you can write what you want. Dr. Steven Greer’s work on the Disclosure Project is helpful to read in the area of the secrecy behind the special access projects and UFOs.

An important document in this regard was released by Glenn Greenwald (who worked with Edward Snowden) in 2014, and details a program called JTRIG. This program is part of the British intelligence service GCHQ. We know that GCHQ works with the CIA and American intelligence agencies, because both countries are part of the Five Eyes intelligence network. In the article, titled “How Covert Agents Infiltrate The Internet To Manipulate, Deceive, And Destroy Reputations,” Greenwald says:

“One of the many pressing stories that remains to be told from the Snowden archive is how western intelligence agencies are attempting to manipulate and control online discourse with extreme tactics of deception and reputation-destruction. It’s time to tell a chunk of that story, complete with the relevant documents.

Over the last several weeks, I worked with NBC News to publish a series of articles about ‘dirty trick’ tactics used by GCHQ’s previously secret unit, JTRIG (Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group). These were based on four classified GCHQ documents presented to the NSA and the other three partners in the English-speaking ‘Five Eyes’ alliance. Today, we at the Intercept are publishing another new JTRIG document, in full, entitled ‘The Art of Deception: Training for Online Covert Operations.’

Among the core self-identified purposes of JTRIG are two tactics: (1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable. To see how extremist these programs are, just consider the tactics they boast of using to achieve those ends: ‘false flag operations’ (posting material to the internet and falsely attributing it to someone else), fake victim blog posts (pretending to be a victim of the individual whose reputation they want to destroy), and posting ‘negative information’ on various forums....

These GCHQ documents are the first to prove that a major western government is using some of the most controversial techniques to disseminate deception online and harm the reputations of targets. Under the tactics they use, the state is deliberately spreading lies on the internet about whichever individuals it targets, including the use of what GCHQ itself calls ‘false flag operations’ and emails to people’s families and friends. Who would possibly trust a government to exercise these powers at all, let alone do so in secret, with virtually no oversight, and outside of any cognizable legal framework?”

Glenn Greenwald, at https://theintercept.com/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/

Apparently, false flag operations are not conspiracy theories at all, but tactics used by intelligence agencies to promote agendas. Unfortunately, these intelligence operations interface with news media, and influence the integrity of journalism itself.

The New Diplomacy

There is a war now in journalism for credibility and legitimacy, with the battle now emerging from the shadows into the public eye. It doesn’t really matter what you think of Trump or his administration because what we’re seeing in current events isn’t traditional politics. Trump doesn’t read presidentially from his teleprompter, he doesn’t conduct international relations as we’ve come to know it. That’s because the gloves are off now in the battle between dark and light. That which has been hidden is now going to be exposed.

A good example of the “new diplomacy” – not diplomacy approved by traditional think tanks and media outlets like the New York Times – is Trump’s recent, almost off-hand visit to North Korea to shake hands with Kim Jong Un, which I found inspirational. The old system thinking is represented perfectly by a quote from Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, in May 2017:

Hillary Clinton called North Korea one of the world's ‘wicked problems’ on Tuesday — and took a swipe at President Donald Trump’s tweeting habits at an appearance in New York City.  ‘Negotiations are critical,’ Clinton said of the efforts to achieve peace with the nuclear-armed nation. ‘But they have to be part of a broader strategy, not just thrown off on a tweet some morning that, “Hey, let’s get together, you know, see if we can’t get along and maybe we can, you know, come up with some sort of idea.” That doesn’t work.””

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer wasn’t impressed, however.

'It's reality show foreign policy. He wants that photo op, he wants that little hit,’ Schumer said. ‘He had no strategic, long range sense of where to go or what to do, and if anyone thinks this doesn’t hurt America in the short term and the long run They're sadly mistaken. This was one of the worst few days in American foreign policy and American diplomatic history in a long time,’ Schumer said Monday in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper.”

Interesting, I’d say. Trump makes an offhand tweet to Kim at the G20 meeting in Japan, 24 hours later he’s the first president to walk into No Ko. In official statements, both the North Koreans and the South Koreans were very pleased with the visit. How can this be a bad thing?

Apparently, in the new diplomacy, you can get things done in a hurry.

De facto Military-backed Government?

In my opinion, there is de facto a military government in the USA right now running the show, fighting a “deep state” shadow government. This military-backed government gets things done very quickly, without a lot of red tape. This relationship can be seen if you examine Trump’s first cabinet, which had no less than 4 military generals.

Go to the “Q” board at qanon.pub. There is little difference between Q and Trump; that’s because Trump has the backing of certain segments of the U.S. military. “Q” is military intelligence.

Evidence of the shadow government is everywhere, most recently in the skirmish in the Gulf of Oman, where Iran supposedly attacked a U.S. drone. Later, Trump’s military helpers traced back to who really did attack the drone, and it wasn’t Iran. So who did it?

The “deep state,” or whatever you want to call it, is a group of people who have no national or planetary loyalty, except to themselves.

My theory is that, in order not to scare the crap out of the population, a civilian facade is maintained within the military-backed Trump administration. People on the left are understandably alarmed by this, so their accusations of fascism and their hatred of Trump have some basis in fact. But spitting on Eric Trump in restaurants, kicking Trump’s Press Secretary out of the Red Hen, and beating up reporters (Andy Ngo) who are known to sympathize with Trump, isn’t a very effective way to beat the Trumpster.

What seems odd to me is that those who hate Trump don’t mention the involvement of military intelligence, or promote the line that Trump has created a fake military-backed administration. Not even AOC or Bernie mention it! This could be a great talking point for 2020, but instead the Democrats are talking about free health care for illegal immigrants, raising taxes (Bernie), and the Russiagate idiocy.  Could it be that these people are following a script? 25 candidates and they are all (except Marianne Williamson and Tulsi Gabbard) talking about stuff that most people aren't excited about. That’s a weird conspiracy theory, but I don’t get why the “Trump de facto military coup” angle isn’t being mentioned by the mainstream media. More than likely, to mention it would alert the public to the connection between the intelligence services and the media – who want to maintain the fiction of their objectivity and credibility.

Social Media and the Intelligence War

In my opinion, Trump is trying to get U.S. troops out of Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Korean Peninsula. Edward Snowden has shown us the power of the intelligence agencies (NSA) to collect information. The public arms of the intelligence services are social media organizations like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. These are thinly disguised information gathering organizations that interface with the intelligence community. The NSA was painted by Snowden as the bad guy, but Snowden worked for Booz-Allen Hamilton, a CIA contractor. The CIA also gathers intelligence, as does the FBI.

Since the formal creation of the intelligence community in 1947, parts of it have grown into a rogue operation. Over the years the CIA has given a lot of bad intelligence to civilian policy makers, and has orchestrated coups and overthrown foreign governments, replacing these leaders with dictators or amenable puppets.

What we are seeing in U.S. politics today is an intelligence war.

Because the Powers-That-Be/shadow government/intelligence services largely control the mainstream press, the Trump/military de facto government has had to use non-traditional social media to get its message across. Paradoxically, Trump uses Big Tech against those within the intelligence community who created social media as an information gathering platform. If you think Mark Zuckerberg is really behind Facebook, think again. Facebook and Google were funded by the CIA’s venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel. There is lots of info about this, look it up. For example, “Social Media Is A Tool of the CIA. Seriously,” CBS News, at https://www.cbsnews.com/news/social-media-is-a-tool-of-the-cia-seriously/

Or, “Revealed: Facebook’s CIA Connections,” at https://stpaulresearch.com/2018/03/29/revealed-facebooks-cia-connections/

We’re out of the old paradigm where the fix was in and everything was settled in a pretty dark place. People were comfortable with that though, and could build nice lives for themselves. Many people don’t understand why there’s so much chaos, and why Trump is behind so much of it. Yes, he is behind a lot of it because he is seen as an outsider by the Establishment.

If you don’t believe that a billionaire like Donald Trump is seen as a dangerous outsider, "not one of us," look at this headline from the New York Times the day after the 2016 election:

Photo from The New York Review of Books, “Why Trump Is Winning and the Press Is Losing,” at https://www.nybooks.com/daily/2018/04/25/why-trump-is-winning-and-the-press-is-losing/

Yeah, this guy is an outsider. In Washington DC, and to a hard core element of the intelligence services, he is seen as a dangerous monster. A guy who will break up the old order -- their order -- and laugh about it.

The New Timeline

There was only one problem with the old system: At the highest levels it was controlled by the dark, not the light. I was born in 1951 and lived through almost all of the post-World War 2 era. Back then, if you had very little self awareness, and no spiritual understanding, you could get along just fine. If you were like me, you had a harder time of it. You could make money and “get ahead,” get married, have kids, play golf, go to book club meetings, all that normal stuff. But that timeline had no future folks. That old timeline was supposed to end in an extinction event: nuclear war. Thank God (or the co-creative power of human consciousness) it didn’t. I kiss those “good old days” goodbye, and have no regret that we are on a new timeline; a new timeline that is somewhat terrifying, but one that is leading to a psychic cleanup of the entire human race, and that is bringing in more light.

Old fogies like me don’t ask for sympathy, some of us are just glad to GTFO of that 1951- 2012 period.

Yes, we are on a new timeline, but with the old timeline structures. The election of Donald Trump is the very first major wildcard on the new timeline after December 2012. We know Trump is a major wildcard because he is having a huge, planetary effect. He is bulldozing everything down in the old political structures. This just doesn’t “happen.” (See my book, The Old Soul.)

Since 1947, the intelligence community has gone out of control. Trump and his military-backed government are fighting these elements (as in The Gulf of Oman), but the battle is largely behind the scenes so as not to create too much fear.

When we find out the scams that have accumulated a $22 trillion debt for the American people, there’s going to be a lot of anger. There’s NO WAY that debt was accumulated through “business as usual” and “budgets as usual.” Sure, the civilian government spends more than it takes in, but not $22 Trillion worth. No, the diversion of a lot of that money was accomplished via hidden means. Hidden = dark = deep state.

I don’t want to go any further into this. Hopefully, if Trump is able to do his job, these scams will be exposed. And if Trump gets out of line, my guess is that he won’t be around for very long.
