We've now established that the universe and everything in it is vibrational in nature, that you have a personal "vibrational signal," to which the universe at large is responsive. So what can you do with this information?
It all starts with your thoughts and your vision of yourself. What do you want? Do you have a firm idea of what you want your life to be? If not, you are just drifting. If you do, then you are on the creative path.
In a vibrational universe, it may take some time to change your vibrational signal, especially if you have been in a rut for a long time. If so, your life is probably a lot of the "same old, sane old," and you can't see your way clear. You probably find it difficult to even figure out WHAT you want! This is understandable, for you have established a strong vibrational procilivity in a certain direction. All of your thoughts go in that direction! A lot of people find out about the Law of Attraction and The Secret and figure that a few random thoughts here and there is enough to change your orientation. Those who have very strong desires and feel inspired by a new idea can break through very quickly, and should notice a change in your life right away. But if you don't feel strongly about anything, if you are not focused on something specific, nothing much will happen. The universe responds to what you are thinking and intending, and matches you up with similar people and situations. The equation is, "garbage out = garbage in," In other words, YOU control, in a broad sense, what happens to you.
If you want change, you need a stronger vibration to entrain or subsume your present vibration for complete success. That's what "self-help" is all about. In a vibrational universe, all you need to do is reorient your thoughts in a new dirction, but you have to increase the strength and sophistication of your thinking and your intention to do that! This is why evolution is such an important concept. Not even a genius like Einstein can come up with the Theory of Relativity overnight! When you figure out what you want and begin to focus upon that, you increase the strength of your signal, and then things begin to happen. You meet up with people that can help you. Sometimes these happy accidents seem like mere coincidence or luck, but you know the old saying, that you make your own breaks. "Lucky" people have a positive belief in themselves and what they are doing. Mopers and grouches seem to attract struggle and failure. But even a grouch can succeed if he or she is focused enough, for a strong vibrational signal of success will attract successful people and outcomes. Successful people are often miserable, however, if their position on the scale of emotion is below the positive line. That is why your emotional state is so very important for success AND happiness!
There is a world of wisdom in the above statements, of course, but positive change ALWAYS starts with a positive change in YOU. The good news is, you can feel it. You know how strongly you are motivated. You know whether you have a goal and a vision that fires you up! You know whether your vision is detailed or just fuzzy. To be successful, you have to stop b.s.ing yourself, and begin to really look inside and be honest with yourself. It all starts with what you believe.
Your beliefs establish your creative range. In other words, your beliefs establish the parameters of what you can have. Joe is a person who does not believe himself capable of having money, so the lower range of his possible manifestation will be, I can make enough to survive and the top of his range might be, I always have enough to pay the bills, with a little left over. If you are like Ted Turner, however, you may consider it your God given right to have a few billion dollars. Mr. Turners range of possible manifestation is orders of magnitude greater than Joes.
It is impossible to create and manifest beyond the boundaries of your beliefs. This is one of the most important principles in the Universal Operating System.
Your beliefs are established by the broad, general (but powerful) decisions you make about yourself. I am fun loving. I am intelligent. I am a loving person. I am poor and Ill always be poor. These sorts of powerful I AM statements establish states of being. A state of being is a decision about what (or how) to BE. States of being are vitally important, for from them proceed your beliefs, thoughts and attitudes about yourself, others, and life itself.
Once you have established a state of being about anything, you begin to flesh them out, to become more specific. Here is where the role of thoughts come in. Thoughts establish the specifics of your desires.
A desire is intimately related to a state of being. Sometimes you see somethingc and get really fired up: "Wow! I sure would like to act like Kate Winslett." You see Kate in "Titanic" and all of a sudden you say, "I want to be an actress just like Kate!" and you've got yourself an I AM statement: "I AM a successful actress." Sometimes your desire can come from a state of being. The decision, I am fun loving may lead to many desires. I like to make people laugh. I like to make up and learn new jokes. I want to write them down so I dont forget. Now I have a routine I can perform to make others laugh. I would like to be a professional comedian. Etc. The list is probably endless! The more thought evolves, the more vibrationally coherent it is, the stronger it is. I don't know about you, but I can FEEL a highly motivated person. Such a person radiates intent and desire. Such is the power of a vibrational signal.
Your thoughts determine the precise nature of what you will eventually manifest. Ill get a job at the Improv, even if I have to be a janitor. Ill listen every night to the performers and learn how to perform a comedy routine. Ill get an agent and a publicist and tour the comedy circuit. Etc. If your thoughts are lined up with your desires, then your life experiences will be a match to your desires. If they are not, you will experience something different. I want to be a comedian but I dont think Im funny enough. I cant make enough money being a comedian. Etc. These thoughts are in opposition to your desire, and in fact are selflimiting, causing you to feel negative emotion, and you fail to take the actions that will guarantee success.
If you do not determine precisely what you want, then what you manifest will be fuzzy as well. I hate my job, I want a new one, is a lot different than, I want a job programming Java for XYZ company. The former might lead to manifestation of a job handing out flyers door to door!
Your emotions and feelings are a perfect mirror to your vibrational point of attraction. They act like a gauge, or a display monitor in a computer. They also act as amplifiers or attenuators of your vibrational signal. Strong emotion (positive or negative) = amplification; little or no emotion = attenutation. Your feelings tell you whether you are, in this moment, treading the correct path which will lead to the manifestation of your desires. They are your infallible guide to the current state of your overall vibrational mix. Positive emotion = correct path, negative emotion = straying from the goal. That is, assuming that your goal is positive. But only a kook, or someone deluded, wants to harm, control, or coerce another.
Your vibrational signal regarding anything is established by (1) Your state of being in relation to it, which establishes your attitudes and beliefs, which in turn establish the fundamental range of your vibrational signal, (2) Your thoughts and beliefs, which determine the specific content of your vibrational signal regarding a particular desire, and the specifics of your eventual experiences, and (3) The strength of your emotions and feelings, which either amplify positively, or attenuate negatively, the strength of your vibrational signal. Your emotions tell you whether you are aligning properly to the goals you have set for yourself.
Because of the nature of the vibrational universe and the role of consciousness in it, you are ALWAYS creating something. So it behooves all of us to understand the creative process, and to get a grip on what we are being, thinking, and feeling. It is absolutely vital to understand the powerful role of consciousness not only in the creative process, but in life. Many people do not realize that life itself is a creative process! They do not realize that the universe and everything in it is continually responding to their vibrational signal, but it is! The only way to prove that to yourself is to begin to apply the principles of the Universal Operating System in your own life, and observe the results. Understanding how consciousness interfaces with the universe at large can make this process a lot simpler.
