These guys write in long, run-on sentences
that are almost impossible to decipher. The site is a mess. On Jan 7 they
published an article that was inspiring, although it is most likely a
conspiracy theory. Well, it’s a positive conspiracy theory about peace in the
Middle East, and Trump vs. the military-industrial-complex, which I talked
about in my last post.

I’m simply going to quote verbatim from parts
of the article and rewrite it in intelligible form. Here goes:

On December 6, 2019, AP reports that
an elite Saudi Arabian military officer training at a
US base in Florida to open fire and kill 3 American military officers.
“An aviation student from Saudi Arabia opened fire in a classroom at the Naval
Air Station Pensacola on Friday morning, killing three people in an attack the
Saudi government quickly condemned and that U.S. officials were investigating
for possible links to terrorism.”

On December 10, the New York Times reports that “The
Pentagon has suspended operational training for all Saudi military students in
the United States, indefinitely halting flight instruction, firing range
training and all other operations outside the classroom in the wake of a
shooting last week at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida by a member of the
Saudi Royal Air Force.”

On December 11, 2019, BBC News reported that “the UN has reportedly so far been unable to confirm Iran was involved in drone and cruise missile attacks on two key Saudi oil facilities in September. Saudi Arabia said Iran was behind the attacks, which temporarily knocked out half of the kingdom’s crude production. But a leaked report by the UN’s secretary general says investigators could not corroborate that the drones and missiles were of Iranian origin.” The UN report was issued on December 10th. Okay, so Iran was not behind this attack. The US has troops and missiles in Saudi Arabia to defend against such an attack. In September, this missile system mysteriously failed, even though it was an advanced U.S. system. How could such a sophisticated missile system fail precisely when it was needed? The result was a big (although temporary) blow to Saudi oil production.

On December 27, 2019, Trump order[s]
the assassination of Iranian
General Qasem Soleimani

At Soleimani’s funeral
in Tehran, on January 6, 2020, “Iran’s
semi-official news agency ISNA reported chants of “Death to infidels,” “Death
to seditionists” and “Death to al-Saud” — a reference to the Saudi ruling
family.” This demonstration was choreographed by the regime. If people are
shouting “Death to Saud,” it has the sanction of the regime in Iran.

On January 7, the
Farsi News Agency reported “A number of
family members of the Saudi princes have fled to the European states for the
fear of Iran’s retaliation for the US assassination of IRGC Qods Force
Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, Arab media reports said.”

If you follow the news you remember “news
people” speculating about an escalation of tensions in the Middle East that
could lead to World War III – something so absurd that it was almost funny. The
news media EXISTS to spread fear and hatred, and is a tool of the warmongers
and the MIC. No surprise, actually, but this speculation was all over the
place.

US-Iran war
fears devolved into a “farce spectacle,” according to this article, “of Chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National
Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mojtaba Zonnouri threatening to strike 6,236 US targets, which is the
number of verses in the Koran.
This was quickly followed by Trump ordering 52 fully armed stealth fighter jets to do an “Elephant
Walk” at their Hill Air Force Base in Utah, which is the number of American
hostages Iran held in 1979.

OK, enough! This is comical, and can’t be taken seriously by anyone. Except maybe warmongers in the MIC and in the press, who seem to delight in scaring the shit out of people. If Iran has the capacity to hit over six thousand U.S. targets, they could take over the world. Obviously they don’t. It’s just theater.

The conspiracy theory here is that Trump wants to get the US out of endless wars, but he is
being opposed by those who profit from war. So, he has to practice a diplomacy
that shakes up the system and tries to expose the stupidity of spending
trillions on killing people halfway around the world. (Of course, those who
hate Trump will simply say that he’s a tool of the MIC and a warmonger himself,
but I don’t believe this. Trump is no peacenik but he is a businessman who
likes deals, and making money. And the warmongers (on both sides) are simply in
the way.)

Sylvain
LaForest writing in Oriental
Review, says this about Trump (I posted this article on my Facebook page):

Early in his mandate, Trump naively tried the direct approach, by surrounding himself with establishment rebels like Michael Flynn and Steve Bannon, then by annoying each and everyone of his foreign allies, shredding their free-trade treaties, imposing taxes on imports and insulting them in their face in the G7 meetings of 2017 and 2018. The reaction was strong and everyone doubled-down on the Russiagate absurdity, as it looked like the only option to stop the man on his path of globalism destruction. Predictably, the direct approach went nowhere; Flynn and Bannon had to go, and Trump was entangled in a handful of inquiries that made him realize that he wouldn’t get anything accomplished with transparency. He had to find a way to annihilate the most dangerous people on the planet, but at the same time, stay in power and alive. He had to smarten up.

That’s when his genius exploded on the world. He completely changed his strategy and approach, and started taking absurd decisions and tweeting outrageous declarations. As threatening and dangerous as some of these first looked, Trump didn’t use them for their first degree meaning, but was aiming at the genuine second degree effects that his moves would have. And he didn’t care about what people thought of him as he did, for only results count in the end. He would even play buffoon over Twitter, look naive, lunatic or downright idiotic, perhaps in the hope to impregnate the belief that he didn’t know what he’s doing, and that he couldn’t be that dangerous. He’s willfully being politically incorrect to show the ugly face that the United States are hiding behind their mask.”
https://orientalreview.org/2019/11/15/about-trump/

OK, this is a bit much I think. But it fits with the title
of this post, that things are not always what they seem. Trump seems like a
moron and a warmonger. But maybe he’s not! Maybe there’s a plan behind the
madness. I hope there is and I’ll grasp onto any straw I can find! Why wouldn’t
you take a positive attitude? The law of attraction tells us that what you
expect you get more of. Having a defeatist attitude just puts that on the
timeline of future events. Hate is hate, even if it’s hate of Trump. It’s
harmful. So I don’t do it! I look for positive explanations.

Now, according to this article, “President Trump stripped
away the mask from the ugly face of America’s endless wars by his
secretly ordering released to The
Washington Post what are now infamously known as The Afghanistan Papers.” The Post declares in a blaring
headline: “Those Who Ran The Afghanistan War Lied…They Must Be
Held To Account”

Nine days later the warmongers and
the MIC retaliated, voting to impeach Trump on December 19. Here is where it
gets fantastical. According to this too-flattering article, Trump embarks on an historic quest to make peace with
the entire Muslim world.

Now, we know that
there is a Swiss backchannel between Iran and the US. This is how Trump
communicates with the mullahs in Iran. This back channel was instrumental in
calming tensions after the killing of Soleimani and the Iranian attacks on US
bases in Iraq – no Americans were killed in these attacks because the Iranians
told the US beforehand so we could get our troops out of there. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/id-see-them-call-me-how-trump-used-encrypted-swiss-fax-machine-defuse-iran-crisis

The theory is that Trump is making a deal with the Iranians – dealing is what he’s good at – and wants to let Iran deal with the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia, instead of us. Saudi Arabia isn’t popular in the Arab world, even among Sunni Muslims. A recent Gallup poll shows that just 4% of Americans have a “very favorable” view of Saudi Arabia—numbers that are worse than Venezuela or Cuba. Of course this idea flies in the face of the Pertrodollar agreement back in the 1970s with the Saudis, but the world’s financial system, and the Petrodollar system, can’t keep going much longer. More and more countries in the world are abandoning the dollar to pay for oil. Maybe Trump sees his chance.

Is this a far-fetched
theory? Probably. But it’s a hopeful one.

Some have suggested that General Soleimani was lured into an ambush by US
Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, who invited him to Iraq to talk peace about
Syria, and then killed him—and that General Soleimani was killed while on a mission to
make peace with Saudi Arabia. The article says (perhaps naively) that
“both Trump and Iran’s Supreme Leader agreed
that General Soleimani would
be sacrificed—a sacrifice intended to achieve two goals—the FIRST being a cessation of any
war between the US and Iran occurring—and the SECOND being the removal of
all US military forces
from Iraq.”

This is interesting, because Press TV reports that

The the US-led military coalition purportedly fighting the Daesh terrorist group has reportedly relocated its headquarters in Iraq to Kuwait in the wake of recent assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and the second-in-command of Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and public rage over the targeted killings. Iraq’s Arabic-language al-Forat news agency reported that the alliance took the decision on Tuesday to move its command center from the Iraqi capital Baghdad to Kuwait City. The Qatar-based and Arabic-language al-Jazeera news network, citing a report published by German DPA news agency, later confirmed the account. The report came only a day after Iraq’s caretaker Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said his country and the United States should work together on implementing the withdrawal of all foreign troops from the country.”
https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2020/01/07/615578/US-led-coalition-temporarily-relocates-headquarters-from-Iraq-to-Kuwait:-Report

Interesting. A temporary relocation? Maybe.

The article continues: “The Netherlands suspended all of its military operation in Iraq and Germany pulled all of its military forces out of Iraq, too. [This is] a Western military strategic retreat occurring while Iraq has restricted the movement of the international coalition’s forces as part of preparing a mechanism of the foreign troop pullout from the country.”

Could this explain the chaotic 24 hours that
“saw the US announcing in a letter that it was
pulling all of its troops out of Iraq—a letter quickly
modified by US Army General Mark
Milley, the Commander of
the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who said this letter was a draft and that it
should not have been released.” Maybe.

I talked about
this in my last post – that there is a struggle between Trump, who wants our
troops out of the Middle East, and the warmongers, who control troop
deployments, and who want war.

According to
this article, “This letter’s premature
release was ordered by Deep State warmonger Defense Department Deputy Eric Chewning, whom Trump immediately fired—thus
making this warmonger yet another causality of Trump’s chaos theory masterplan
to end his nation’s endless wars and bring a
lasting peace to the Middle East.
The only actual battlefield death, so far, in the maelstrom of this
chaos remains General Soleimani—the
sacrificed chess piece pawn who began the most critical game of war and peace
ever seen since World War II.”

According to the article, Trump made a deal with the Iranians and the mourning about Soleimani is just theater. Crazy? You betcha. But it’s a hopeful crazy.

It’s hard to believe that the US
would simply abandon Saudi Arabia – we just sold them $100 billion worth of
weapons. But these weapons sales may be the work of the warmongers, who just
fattened their balance sheets. If it’s Trump vs the warmongers, maybe the
president is ready to strangle the alliance between the Kingdom and the US in
exchange for a chance at Middle East peace.

The inexplicable “failure” of the US missile defense system in Saudi Arabia, the Swiss backchannel between the Iranians and the US, the Iranian notification to the US about their retaliatory missile strike, the surgical elimination of Soleimani with no other casualties, the reports of U.S. withdrawing from Iraq, Trump’s deal-making propensity, the collapse of the Petrodollar system, the fleeing of Saudi princes to Europe – well, this could be good for both Iran and the US. Remember, the Saudis were involved in 9/11. Just today, Attorney General Barr announced that the shootings by the Saudi airman of three U.S. military personnel at a U.S. naval base in Pensacola, Florida, is an “act of terrorism.” Can all this spell doom for the Kingdom, and a chance at peace in the Middle East?

People my age have been hoping for
Middle East peace for decades. Perhaps a wrecking ball like Trump is the guy to
finally get it going. If nothing happens…well, nothing has been happening for
70 years. Before world peace can happen, Middle East peace must happen. Let’s
watch events and see how things unfold.

I occasionally look at a crazy (and unreadable) site called whatdoesitmean.com.
