Just like a regular magnet, the earth\u2019s magnetic field is produced from a magnetic dipole. There is a North Pole at the top of the planet and a South Pole at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earth\u2019s magnetic field has been rapidly moving since the beginning of the 21st century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examine Figure 2 above. (All images are from the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) website<\/a>). At the beginning of the 20th century the poles began to move. At the beginning of the 21st century they really began to move. From 1590 to 1904, Magnetic North was fairly stable and hardly moved at all. Earth\u2019s magnetic field was also stronger back then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to the website and play with it. You can see that when Magnetic North moves, it pulls and changes the earth\u2019s magnetic field lines all over the planet. The magnetic field is changing every minute because the shift of the mag field is continuous. (The maps just show snapshots at particular times.) We are all immersed in this changing magnetic field, which I have been calling The Shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The effect of magnetic fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A changing magnetic field \u2013 whether due to motion or variation in strength \u2013 induces an electric field. If the magnetic field moves relative to a conductor or a region of space, the change in magnetic flux generates an electromotive force (EMF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So there is a force of some kind on the human body when the earth\u2019s magnetic field moves, because the human body is a conductor of electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The human body is essentially an electrochemical engine that is easily influenced by magnetic fields. The human body is approximately 70% water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The water molecule \u2013 although not completely a dipole \u2013 is a conductor of electricity because the two positive hydrogen molecules are at an angle of 105 degrees from the central oxygen molecule, which is negative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How strong is the earth\u2019s magnetic field?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The strength of a magnetic field is measured in Teslas. The Earth’s magnetic field is generated by the movement of molten iron in its outer core. It has a strength of about 25 to 65 microteslas (\u00b5T) at the surface, varying by location, and protects the planet from solar and cosmic radiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A microtesla is one-one millionth of a tesla, so the earth\u2019s magnetic field is about 0.00005 tesla. A refrigerator magnet is about 0.001 tesla and an MRI magnet is about 1.5 tesla. The earth\u2019s magnetic field is fairly weak in comparison with inanimate magnetic objects, but it still has an effect on the human body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the effects of earth\u2019s magnetic field on the human body?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Humans have cryptochrome proteins in the retina of the eye, similar to those in migratory birds. People have speculated that humans also have a latent ability to perceive magnetic fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 2019 study by Caltech researchers (Kirschvink et al.) found that brain waves (EEG) in humans changed subtly when exposed to rotating magnetic fields mimicking Earth\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weak magnetic fields, including Earth-strength ones, can influence the way neurons in the brain fire, at least in lab studies. It has been suggested that natural geomagnetic fields can therefore affect cognition, mood, or neurological health in everyday life. Some anecdotal and small-scale studies propose links between geomagnetic storms and increased anxiety, depression, or schizophrenia symptoms. (This info from Grok.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An example of the effects on the human body of changing magnetic field lines is jet lag. Of course going from one time zone to the other can have an effect on biorhythms, but slicing through the magnetic field lines also has a big effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earth\u2019s magnetic field lines aren\u2019t moving anywhere near as fast as a passenger jet, but the shift is ongoing and continuous. This Shift is affecting the human body and, in my opinion, is causing mental and emotional instability in some people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can the insanity we see in our societies be explained by a massive planetary shift in the earth\u2019s magnetic field? I think that it can, at least in part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My hypothesis is that the movement of the earth\u2019s magnetic field is not only affecting human consciousness, but that human consciousness is also affecting the earth\u2019s magnetic field. In other words there is, as Native American cultures have always insisted, a symbiotic relationship between the human race and the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s good news to me, because the human race is waking up to the darkness that has been part of human societies for millennia. If human consciousness becomes more positively oriented, we may also see a re-orientation of the magnetic field that would support more harmony and less conflict. Who knows but that is happening right now. An examination of the position of Magnetic North in the interactive Magnetic Declination program shows that the pace of movement is beginning to slow down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, when the magnetic field settles down and The Shift is over, we will hopefully see a much happier and more peaceful civilization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
